Search Engine Optimization

Your site conveys your message to your customers but it hasn't been optimized for search engines. Before search engines such as Google can present your site as a good match for someone's search, it must first be able to easily understand what your site is about to decide whether it's relevant. Unless you take specific steps to present your content the way they like it, engines will pass your site by and present
other sites in your place. We can tune your site to search engine specifications to improve your ranking and avoid search engine sanctions that could get your site purged or black-listed.

How do Search Engines search the web so fast?

As you may know, when you click "search", Google doesn't actually search the Web.
Instead, they search their own database, or "index", that contains a copy of some of the pages from selected Web sites. The engines use special programs called "spiders" to traverse the Web collecting copies of pages that they consider important and that comply with their style rules. If you violate a style rule or aren't spider-friendly, they won't index your page.

How do engines decide what matches a search?

When someone searches, the engine decides what they are looking for and tries to
present search results that best match the request. To achieve this, the engine must
decipher what the web pages are about in order to match them to the search. It will
present results from the sites that most clearly present the information the way the engines want it. If a site is tuned for the search engine, that means the engine can easily understand the content, and the engine will consider it a better match to the search.

Who comes first?

The engines first present pages that are the best match to phrase being searched on. This is why a tune-up is so important. But what happens if two pages are equally good matches? Engines such as Google then look at how well connected the site is. Based on the number and quality of links into your site, and whether your site is working and contains no broken links, it assigns a measure of how important your site is.
